The Adventurer package includes the entire Explorer aerial ropes package and also allows you learn some cool bushcraft and survival skills such as water filtration, fire lighting, shelter building and some other stuff for all those budding Bear Grylls’.
As well as following the Explorer rope course for about an hour and a half we then go on to teach you a range of bushcraft and survival skills for a similar period. We do this in the beautiful woodland of the Raithwaite Estate, Whitby.
What should an Adventurer expect?
During the adventurer experience, will learn from experienced outdoor instructors. They will give us an introduction to natural principles and skills necessary to respect and survive in the great outdoors. Especially if you choose to go on an adventure yourself.
We talk about how long can you go without water or food? How to build a shelter using knowledge and resources to keep the cold, wind and rain out? Then, if you are feeling peckish after your energetic aerial experience we will prepare some damper bread (maybe with choc chips) using the fire skills we have taught you.
This is an experience for adults and youngsters alike. Why not then go on to the seafront and enjoy great coffee and food at a number of quirky cafes. There are also many pubs within easy reach.
